Take a moment to read and share this. This news has yet to hit major media outlets in Pakistan and activists and journalists are hoping this issue is not ignored because of the corruptive web of influence the Pakistani government has over the media.

Today an unprecedented child sex abuse ring was exposed in Pakistan. Here are the details:

  • Summary: Since 2006 until 2014 (eight years), over 280 children ranging from age seven to fourteen were forcibly raped on camera. Over 400 videos were recorded and distributed for money, both online and physically
  • Location: Kasur District, Punjab, Pakistan
  • Perpetrators: A gang of 25 men ranging from teenage boys to middle-aged men. The leaders of this ring are two men in their 40s
  • Boys and girls both were raped by one or multiple men repeatedly
  • Gang members involved in the ring blackmailed the victim’s family for money and sold content of the videos to porn sites as well as local merchants. If any victims attempted to speak out, they were subsequently threatened as well
  • Although the local police were notified of this activity, the gang leaders were influential members of society that corruptively swayed local authorities to become complicit with the crime. The police harassed victims who spoke out and attempted to report the sex abuse ring and also dispersed a protest by locals who were outraged by the inaction of the authorities against the gang suspects.
  • If that wasn’t enough, a local politician, Malik Ahmed Saeed of the PML-N Party, was aware of this criminal activity but still protected the suspected gang leaders by suspending any inquiry into the matter and by paying bribes.
  • Now, a federal investigation is being called for by activists and journalists alike, but traction is yet to be achieved as this story has not completely hit mainstream media

Save Our Kids (8/8/15): Christian Taylor, a 19-year old college football player was gunned down by police early Friday morning in Arlington, TX. Christian crashed his vehicle into a car dealership. Police claim he was trying to rob it. How and why a kid with his own new car and a promising college career, would try to single-handedly rob a car showroom by crashing into it, I couldn’t tell you (reeks of bullshit/this ain’t Fast & Furious). He was unarmed. Police will always prioritize property over our lives. Don’t be shocked if/when video gets released later contradicting the killer cop’s story though.
