im fucking panicking i cant believe 4000 people have died within 6 weeks of being found “fit for work” by the uk government. we’re being killed and no one is doing anything about it. im not saying this for effect or over-exaggerating, but this is genocide against disabled people. this is 4000 people. this is not even the correct number, this is only within a 6 week period and only the ones that we know for sure. there will be thousands more.
What??? Can someone explain this? I’m really concerned and I lack context.
Basically the head of the Department and work and Pensions, Iain Duncan-Smith is committing genocide against the disabled and working class.
His department under his leadership is making people with mental, physical and other issues seek work when they can’t. He has decreed that benefit claimants are scrounges and worse than shit.
He has an ongoing program to exterminate the weak, vulnerable and disabled from Britain.
Under the Geneva Convention this is classed as genocide.
Iain Duncan-Smith is one of the British politician in support of scrapping the Human Rights act, an act he can be held accountable for his hideous act of Genocide and mass murder.
Please use his full name and the words genocide. Tag them together. Post it on as much social media as you can. This needs to become world wide knowledge and people should feel free to contact the UN, European Court of Human Rights and organisations such as Amnesty International.
We, as in the disabled of Great Britain, need this man, and in fact the entire Tory Government to be removed before they cause all of the vulnerable people of this country to die.
Now you maybe wondering how to help, start by reposting stuff like this, tag it with Iain Duncan-Smith, Genocide and War on the poor. And make it big. Make it so information about this Genocide becomes one of the most found searches on google about Britain right now.
We need this to stop now.
Y'all remember how i spent election night literally crying? This is why.
After Bush’s insensitive “anchor baby” comments, Los Angeles teen Jason Fong decided to focus not on criticizing a single candidate, but productively exposing the truth about the Asian-American experience. It snowballed from stories of immigration, to adversity, to incredible perseverance.
Looks like all of those raucous protests are paying off. After many criticized #BlackLivesMatter protesters for preventing Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders from speaking at a rally in Seattle, the Vermont Senator released a sweeping racial justice plan. Now, he’s agreed to meet with activists to talk about it.
When Michael Brown was gunned down by a police officer in Ferguson, DeRay Mckesson became one of the most notable faces of the movement for justice. Alongside Johnetta Elzie, Mckesson live-tweeted protests, broadcasted video, and offered a perspective the mainstream media couldn’t. Now, he’s got the ear of a popular presidential candidate.
While many continue to question the tactics of some protesters, it’s hard to deny their message is being heard.
In case you missed the reason why Bernie Sanders and other presidential candidates were interrupted by Black Lives Matters activists, head to this post.
It give greater surveillance power to even more government agencies, and the ability for government agencies to share greater information with each other.
It gives the police greater ability to arrest without warrants (arresting “on suspicion”).
It allows people to be charged and jailed for the loosely-defined act of “promoting terrorism” (regardless of any actual terrorist activity), raising questions about freedom of speech.
It makes becoming a citizen a longer and and more expensive process.
It outlines conditions in which the government can revoke a person’s citizenship, mostly related to terrorism, spying, or treason (even if not convicted in Canada). This affects dual citizens and not born Canadians, and therefore essentially creates two-tier, “second-class” citizenship. Canadians who are eligible for dual citizenship (by having parents from another country) are affected by this as well.
The Canadian Senate is a legislative body that is appointed by the prime minister. They are not elected by the public, and therefore not accountable to constituents. Members of the Senate are embroiled in scandal, from invalid expense claims to having sex with an underage girl.
This is a cause that concerns all of us and it’s really sad how little we care honestly it starts from showing at least the slightest bit of fucking interest or concern. No single community should be getting murdered at this rate, period, let alone without anyone even batting an eyelid.
I read somewhere that this campaign lowered local rape statistics by 11%.
Keep reblogging this. Everyone.
YES YES YES YES YES YES
Please, please reblog this far and wide. We need more posters that remind people that they are in charge of their own actions and that means they can decide not to rape.
Have you ever wondered what White Feminism is? Are you vaguely familiar with the term, but still unclear on what it actually means – and how it affects you?
Coming soon:MyTransHealth, an app connecting trans people to knowledgeable, reliable and affordable healthcare providers.
19% of trans people have been refused healthcare because of their gender identity. 50% of trans people have had to teach their doctors about trans-related medical care. 28% of trans people have been harassed in medical settings. This app is desperately needed. Follow them at mytranshealth.
I AM CRYING HOLY SHIT. This is so important. You know I’m serious because I am actually using these things called capitalization and punctuation. You guys. Please. Please boost the hell out of this. It means so much.

You will not believe how fast I signed this, oh my word.
Transgender people in the UK are forced to pay to prove their identity to a Gender Recognition Panel. This process is humiliating, outdated and unnecessary. We urge the government to introduce an act equivalent to the Irish Gender Recognition Act, and allow trans* people to self-define their gender.
Having your gender recognised by the Gender Recognition Panel requires trans* people to go to pointless expense - whether requiring them to pay administration fees (and having to go through the lengthy and underfunded NHS gender transition system) or paying to attend a private clinic to receive the required evidence as well as paying to be seen by the panel.
Furthermore: no provisions are made for non-binary gender identities.
Did you know that as of March 2015 only 3,906 Gender Recognition Certificates (GRCs) had been issued since the Gender Recognition Act of 2005, compared to the 8,760 patientscurrently being treated by gender identity clinics in the UK? Did you know that there are possibly about 56,000 trans people in the UK? Did you know that it takes years and a non-refundable £140 to apply for a GRC (though actual costs are more like £1,000), and they might decide your gender isn’t real enough to be your legal gender, and trans people are more likely to be unemployed or on low income, receiving inadequate physical and mental health care, etc.? If you’re trans but have no GRC, if anyone needs to see your birth certificate you are involuntarily outed, which is discriminatory and sometimes outright dangerous.
This change to the Gender Recognition Act 2005 is sorely needed. The current system is actively harmful. It is unnecessarily expensive, time-wasting, and judgemental.
We’re at 275 signatures as I type this, and we need 10,000 signatures to get a response from Parliament. If we make it to 100,000 it might actually get debated in Parliament.
Sign it sign it! I don’t care if you’re trans, help your trans friends and the trans friends you’ve not met yet! Help your unborn trans children!
Reblob it whether you’re in the UK or not! Share it with your mum!Leave flyers on lampposts!Attach a sandwich board to your cat promoting this petition!
